A Train On The HPL Bridge, Seen From Taco Bell – 18 June 2007

by admin on 2017/06/18

This was the scene at 20:16 CDT on the evening of Monday 18 June 2007 as I waited to place an order at the Taco Bell next to the Huey P. Long Bridge.

Obviously, by virtue of the fact that I made the albeit minimal effort to record it, this scene had meaning for me.

I suspect that part of the reason that it had meaning for me is that it was a too-common scene for me, as trips to fast-food establishments were far too common for me back then and would be for a few more years.

Trains are common – as is seeing them – at this location, too.

It probably means way more than this, but I don’t know, or I don’t know how to say it.  I had something more insightful to say about this scene in this post, but, now that I am sitting down to type it, it has dissipated from my mind.  That happens.

Okay, so, stay tuned, because, starting on the 21st is a big five-day series involving out-of-state travel!
