Hello. These pictures were taken on Sunday 15 April 2007.
After yesterday’s large outing to the Magnolia State, we have some more easy adventures. I assume that TS went back home the next day, for I do not remember him accompanying me – or me accompanying him – on today’s outing.
In the middle of the daylight portion of the morning, I swing by Kansas City Southern Railway’s New Orleans Yard to see this.
Now, SD50s are rare here now.
That was interesting.
Eight hours later, I’m at the Bonnet Carré Spillway, where I see Canadian National Railway train L516 making its way back to Geismar.
This train comes to Mays Yard in Metairie after stopping and working in Destrehan, and then it works in Destrehan again on the way back.
I then kept going and chased it to Reserve, where it does more work, before which I caught it here.
Okay, that’s all for today; thanks for checking it out.
